Derick is an engaging speaker with a drive to inspire excellence in the delivery of health services. Derick enjoys sharing his vision of continuous improvement and innovation across the industry. He is highly committed to promoting the importance of good work practices as one of the most influential factors on our physical and psychological wellbeing, and to ensuring that people with injuries, illnesses or other limitations are able to fully realise the health benefits of great work now and into their future.

Larissa Meysner
Manager Psychological Services, PeopleSense by Altius
Larissa is a clinical psychologist who, in addition to her management role, delivers psychotherapy to a wide range of clients, with a focus on first responders and veterans. She is an active member of the scientific community, conducting research and presenting her work on trauma, grief and loss at national and international conferences.

Larissa speaks frequently on Evidence Based Psychological Treatments that Promote a Return To Work, Trauma, PTSD (including Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing as a treatment modality) and Grief and Loss. She recently completed a Churchill Fellowship examining innovative treatments for Post-traumatic stress disorder in the UK, Netherlands and USA.

Anya Stephens
Founding Director, PeopleSense
As a Founding Director of PeopleSense by Altius, Anya is passionate about assisting people to grow and become the best version of themselves.

Anya was a finalist in the Telstra Businesswoman of the Year Award and frequently presents on a range of topics including wellness, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in action, resilience, overcoming depression and anxiety, relationships, conflict resolution, promoting good mental health and developing teams within organisations.

Anya is a registered psychologist with a Master of Educational Psychology from Brunel University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Hons) from London University. She is a qualified Hypnotherapist, a Certified Trainer and Assessor (Cert IV Training and Assessment) and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and WA Psychologists’ Board.

Laura Fildes
Manager, Psychological Services NSW & ACT, PeopleSense by Altius
Laura is a Clinical Psychologist and an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) qualified supervisor with special qualifications in the treatment of trauma. Her primary therapeutic approaches include Schema Therapy, Metacognitive Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing.

Best Practice Intervention for Trauma, Mental Health Awareness, Managing a Mentally Healthy Workforce and Overcoming Stigma and Barriers to Accessing Support and just some of the topics Laura has presented as a keynote speaker.

Laura has worked with individuals involved in the child protection service, emergency responders and families experiencing trauma, throughout much of regional Australia and across four states.

Susannah Miall
Group Corporate Wellbeing Specialist
Susannah has a passion for health promotion through creating lifestyle and behavioural change to improve physical and mental health. She also strongly believes that positive, connected and inclusive communities together with empowering corporate cultures can support individuals to lead healthier and socially engaged lives.

Susannah enjoys sharing her research and insights into the latest developments in workplace wellness and the business case for change in this space. She inspires individuals and organisations to realise their health potential through the support of well researched, evidence based programs.  Her focus on the integration of physical, mental and social health is fundamental to the creation of healthier communities and organisations.

Prior to joining Altius Group in April 2018, Susannah was CEO of the Can Too Foundation, a health promotion not for profit organisation. She led the successful strategic development and delivery of health promotion programs designed to improve physical and mental health outcomes for over 1,500 individual and corporate participants annually.
